The Taiwan Tourism Bureau selected Michael Ferraro as one of three North American chefs to visit Taiwan in December of 2013.  Along their journey the chef’s learned about Taiwanese cuisine. In the final leg of their tour the three chef’s competed in a cooking competition, utilizing what they had learned. Chef Michael’s Seafood Sausage won the competition and was brought back to the Delicatessen menu. The 30 minute documentary was released on Discovery Channel on February 15, 2014.

Now a partner of the successful eateries, Michael is a fixture of the New York food scene, bringing a sophisticated twist to comfort food.
